Williams Reveals Fan-Voted ‘Flow State’ Livery for 2026 Preseason Test
The striking blue-and-white design, which secured nearly a third of over 54,000 votes, will debut in Barcelona.

Williams Racing has announced it will feature the Flow State livery, specially designed for the first preseason test, after organizing a worldwide fan vote.
In early December, the British team presented six designs for fan scrutiny. The winner would be incorporated onto the 2026 season car, to be driven by Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz in the preseason tests held from January 26 in Barcelona.
Participation was quite high, with fans from 162 countries contributing a total of 54,718 votes. Each design retained shades of Williams’ characteristic blue, and three of them included the team’s recently revealed logo.
A modern interpretation of the “Forward W,” conceived by its founder, Sir Frank Williams, the original logo appeared on the team’s nine cars that were crowned Constructors’ World Champions.
The Flow State livery secures nearly a third of the votes
In total, the Flow State livery received nearly a third of the votes. It is a striking design that celebrates the speed and science of the world’s most technologically advanced sport.
Williams navy blue speed lines adorn a pure white background, evoking the hundreds of hours of aerodynamic testing invested in the development of the team’s new car.
The name ‘Flow State’ refers to “the state of high-intensity mental concentration that drivers adopt to get the most out of the car,” Williams noted.

Team Principal James Vowles thanked “all our incredible Williams Racing fans from around the world, who gave their opinion on how we should enter this new era of Formula 1.”
“Flow State is a deserving winner and we are delighted to bring the fans with us when we hit the track for the first time. There is a lot to look forward to in 2026 and this is just the beginning,” he added.
