Ryanair Boosts Full-Year Outlook on Strong Demand and Boeing Deliveries

The budget carrier now expects higher passenger numbers and a more than 7% rise in ticket prices for the fiscal year.

Ryanair Holdings Plc has improved its full-year forecast for both passenger traffic and ticket prices, citing an uptick in aircraft deliveries from Boeing and persistently strong travel demand.

The airline now projects passenger numbers will grow by 4% to nearly 208 million for the 2026 fiscal year, a slight increase from its previous estimate of 207 million. Average fares are expected to climb by more than 7% compared to the prior year.

In a statement, the carrier offered a cautious net profit forecast, projecting post-tax earnings, excluding exceptional items, to land between €2.13 billion and €2.23 billion.

The updated guidance comes as the company reported third-quarter results. Net profit for the period fell to €115 million, after accounting for an €85 million provision for a fine from Italy’s competition authority. This figure is down from €149 million in the same quarter last year but surpassed the average analyst expectation of approximately €90 million.

According to the company’s chief financial officer, consumers are continuing to travel in large numbers. This trend, combined with constrained flight capacity across Europe, is naturally leading to slightly higher airfares.
